We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of essential duties that ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse. Key responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and managing inventory control. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, as well as adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, although training will be provided for the right individual. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment are crucial. You should possess good communication skills, both verbal and written, and be comfortable using warehouse management systems and basic computer software. Physical stamina is essential, as the role may involve lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods. A valid forklift license is a plus, but not mandatory.
